With a goal to establish up to two hundred sites across the US and overseas, Manchester Bidwell established the National Center for Arts & Technology (NCAT) to develop a formal replication protocol and to work with target cities to realize their plans.

In addition to NECAT, which opened in 2013, Centers for Arts and Technology are open in San Francisco (BAYCAT), Cincinnati (CATC), Grand Rapids, Michigan (WMCAT), Cleveland (New Bridge CCAT), New Haven, CT (CONNCAT), Brockway, PA (BCAT), Buffalo, NY (BATC), Sharon, PA (HOPECAT) and Akko, Israel (ACAT). Several others are in the planning stages, including Chicago, which will open in March 2017.
